A life experience for the New York College, Thessaloniki undergraduate students of the BA (Hons) English Language and English Language teaching who visited the Center for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind (http://www.keat.gr/index.php/en/) on 26th April as part of the course Managing ESL Students with Different #Educational Needs in an #Inclusive Environment
The student together with the course leader and lecturer Ms. Olga Christodoulou were informed about the work and programmes of the Center, were offered a training session on braille by Mr.G.Karvelas and wrote their full names on braille typewriters, they also had the opportunity to discuss with former students of the center about the problems a person with visual impairment confronts in a world not designed for them.
We "wholeheartedly" thank all the staff of the Center for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind of Thessaloniki.
